Environment BY L.C of RATNAPURA

Under the 4 point programs( Environment ) of the governor, we were able to plant 1200 valuable plants such as Na , Mee , Naduna , Milla , Coconut and Kumbuk etc in the temple gardens of Alupathgala and Palawela villages were earth slips taken place 3 years ago. These plants are supplied by PDG Lion Lasantha Gunawardena. Transport and meals are supplied by the Leads of Ratnapura. Youth organization of the village , few lions of our club attended of this project.

Who is a member of our club, 50% of the cost incurred by the club and balance funded by the Leads of Ratnapura. Director of the teaching hospital, Dr.Lion Kanchana Upaseana, senior nurses and 6 lions participated along with the president of the club.
