PURIFING WATER FOR NEXT GENARATION BY L.C of KURUWITA

We have launched a valuable project for the benefit of next generation by planting nearly 500 valuable and rare plants such as PELENGA, BATADOMBA, MEE, KUMBUK and BACK in a range of 2 Km in the feeding area of the Paragala river bank. It is a sub feeding river of Kuruganga. Kuruganga is the main source of water suppling to Kuruwita area. This project will be served for many people in this area. The officer of the forest department of Kuruwita and the villagers of Paragala with the blessings of the chief monk of the Paragala forest temple participated in the event.
