Provided meal for elder people(No.35) at Thusitha Elders home Maththegoda for whole day.Lion wasantha Masakorala was the project chairperson.As remembering to Late Rathnasena Ranawaka ,his family & Lions club of Kottawa organized this arms-giving .Due to concern over covid 19 pandemic situation prevailing in the country we have avoided attending to the event.
Provided a donation for a child in need at SOS Children village .In this village ,orphanage children are looked after as providing home environment for them.Education is the best and foremost requirement for empowering child to achieve their dreams and happy life.We provided financial support for education purposes monthly as donor parents.This project carried out by by Lion Chamath Champika Jayalath
World Environment Day was celebrated by NTGL Lions and other NTGL members on the 26th of September by a tree planting campaign attended by the Minister of Environment Hon Mahinda Amaraweera. 500 Mee plants were planted along the Tissa wewa helped by 200 school children.
