On 07th May 2025, the Lions Club of Colombo Continental Excellence successfully conducted a Dengue and Chikungunya Awareness Program at the Weraliyadda Grama Niladhari Office. Chaired by Dr. Fakeeha Nooman, the session educated 32 community members on identifying symptoms, preventive actions, and environmental cleanliness to reduce mosquito breeding. Informational leaflets were distributed, and a practical demonstration was carried out to reinforce the importance of early action and personal responsibility. A total of 12 Lion hours were recorded for this impactful health education initiative.
