On13th July 2025,a special Nutrition Program was successfully conducted at Sri Pragngna Thilakaramaya, Maharagama under the guidance of Project Chairperson Lion Ann Senavirathna. The project was carried out under the service area of Hunger with the objective of supporting the nutritional needs of Daham school children.
A total of 70 children benefitted from this program. They were served breakfast (Rs. 5,000) and drinks (Rs. 4,000), while gifts worth Rs. 15,000 were also distributed to bring joy and encouragement to the young participants and teachers Additionally, ransport arrangements (Rs. 2,000)were provided, bringing the total project value to Rs. 26,000
The event was further honored by the presence of the Advisor of Golden City, Maharagama, as the Chief Guest making the program more meaningful.
This project not only met the immediate nutritional needs of the children but also reflected the Lions’ dedication towards creating a healthier and brighter future for the younger generation.
