Description

The Children’s Health Development Awareness Programme was successfully conducted at Wonder Kids PreSchool, Kahatowita, Gampaha with participation from 12 children. The programme aimed to raise awareness about essential health practices among young children and encourage healthy habits. The event was chaired and coordinated by Lion Lady Dr. Fakeeha Nooman, and conducted by the Lions Club of Colombo Continental Excellence. The programme was funded by CCC, and a total of 8 Lion hours were dedicated to its planning and implementation. Activities included interactive health sessions, demonstrations on personal hygiene, and guidance for parents on supporting their children’s health. The total expenditure for the project was LKR 10,000. The programme contributed to the Lions’ mission of community service by promoting health awareness and fostering well-being among young children in the community.
