The Monthly Mobile Clinic for Elders was successfully conducted at the Rohini Ransinghe Elders Home for Women With Special Needs, Ruggahawila, Gampaha providing health services to 6 elderly participants. The programme was chaired by Lion Saddath and coordinated by Lion Lady Dr. Fakeeha Nooman, and funded by Lion Saddath.
The clinic focused on conducting medical check-ups, monitoring vital health parameters, and providing guidance on elderly care. A total of 10 Lion hours were dedicated to organizing and implementing the project, with a total expenditure of LKR 12,000.
The programme aligns with the Lions’ mission to serve the community by promoting health and well-being among senior citizens, especially those with special needs.
