Description
Lions Club of Udahamulla Report on Religious Blessing & Community Project Date: 13th September 2025 Venue: Saman Dewalaya & Isipathanaramaya Temple special religious program on 13th September 2025 to invoke blessings on the District Governor and all Lion members. The ceremony was held at the Saman Dewalaya. On the way to the Dewalaya, a community service project was conducted at the Isipathanaramaya Temple premises. Under this initiative, 50 chilli plants (each valued at Rs. 1,000) were distributed among participants and community members. This project was organized under the leadership of Project Chairman Lion Tharaka. A total of 7 Lion members and 6 non-Lion participants took part in the project, contributing to its success. This event not only strengthened spiritual bonds through blessings but also created a positive social impact by promoting sustainable home gardening.
