The project was carried out on July 16th, 2025, to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Lions Club at Sisters of Providence – “Talitha Cum”, St. Anne’s Convent, 34 Epitamulla Road, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte 10100.
The program was organized for 13 resident cancer patients, together with 18 Sisters and lady staff members who care for them.
A special dinner was arranged and served to the patients and Sisters. This was a valuable and meaningful activity, as the patients, who do not have homes, were truly happy to share time, conversations, and joy with the Lions members. The Sisters also expressed their heartfelt appreciation for this thoughtful gesture.
A total of 15 members participated in the project, contributing 15 Lion hours, with the total project value amounting to Rs. 20,000/=.
