The Lions Club of Maharagama Golden City organized a heartfelt humanitarian project under the leadership of Project Chairperson Lion Lady Kumari Wanniarachchi. The initiative took place on 7th August 2025 at Apeksha Hospital, where essential items were distributed to 100 cancer patients to provide comfort and support during their treatment journey.
The project, valued at Rs. 550,000, was graced by the presence of the District Governor as the Chief Guest, along with the participation of several dedicated Lions members. This effort reflects the club’s strong commitment to humanitarian service and bringing relief to those in need.
