Description

The Lions Club of Maharagama Golden City, under the leadership of Project Chairpersons Lion Lady Irosha Edirisinghe and Lion Niwantha Kosgoda, carried out a meaningful service project on 19th August 2025 at the Sahana Udaya Elders’ Retreat Home, Attidiya. With the aim of alleviating hunger and bringing comfort to the elderly residents, the club provided a nutritious dinner, essential medicines, and thoughtful gift packs. A total of 45 elders benefited from this compassionate initiative. The project, valued at Rs. 59,250, was graced by Region Advisor Lion Nimal Premananda as the Chief Guest, whose presence added encouragement and inspiration. This heartfelt effort reflects the club’s unwavering commitment to caring for the community and uplifting the lives of those in need.
