Report on World Environment Day Joint Project

The World Environment Day Joint Project was successfully conducted at Dharmapala School, Pannipitiya, on 20th September 2025 from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. The program was organized with the active participation of several Lions Clubs in the district.
The District Governor, Cabinet Treasurer, and representatives from the Lions Club of Udahamulla, Lions Club of Pannipitiya Paradise, Lions Club of Nugegoda 2020 Stars, and Lions Club of Udahamulla Central joined hands in this meaningful initiative.
The main focus of the project was to clean and beautify the school premises, thereby creating a healthier and greener environment for the students and staff of Dharmapala School. A total of 8 members from the Lions Club of Udahamulla took part in the activity with great enthusiasm and dedication.
The project was carried out under the leadership of Project Chairman, Lion Asanka Abeygunawardana, whose guidance and commitment ensured its success.
This joint effort not only highlighted the importance of environmental conservation but also strengthened fellowship among the Lions Clubs through active collaboration in service.
