The Lions Club of Maharagama Golden City proudly organized the Diriya Siththam 2025 Certificate Award Ceremony on 23rd August 2025 at the Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium, Matale, under the guidance of Project Chairperson Lion Sanjaya Madushan.
This special event was dedicated to children, recognizing their talents and achievements through the Diriya Siththam Art Competition. A total of 200 children were served, receiving certificates of appreciation and encouragement to continue developing their creativity and skills.
The event was made more memorable with the presence of distinguished guest artists, Mrs. Susila Kottegoda and Mr. Ranjith Roobasinghe, who inspired the young participants with their guidance and appreciation of the children’s artistic talents.
An investment of Rs. 240,000 ensured the success of the program, covering expenses for certificates (Rs. 50,000), hall booking (Rs. 50,000), guest artists (Rs. 50,000), transportation (30,000) and the art competition program (Rs. 30,000).
Through this initiative, the Lions Club once again demonstrated its strong commitment to nurturing children’s creativity, confidence, and future potential, while creating a platform to showcase their hidden talents in art.
