World Elderly Day – 01.10.2025 Organizer: Ratnapura Lions Club Venue: Samarathunga Elderly Home Activity: In celebration of World Elderly Day on 01.10.2025, the Ratnapura Lions Club conducted medical check-ups for the residents of Samarathunga Elderly Home under the supervision of President Dr. Chaminda Jayawardana. A month’s supply of necessary medicines was provided with the generous support of Lion Dinuka Dasith. Additionally, energy-boosting milk drinks were distributed with the contributions of Lions Dasun Bandara, Bhathi Nandasena, Kanthi Sewvandhi Tennakoon, and Dr. Kanchana Upasena.
