As part of the Environmental Week of District 306 D7, the Lions Club of Colombo Continental Excellence proudly organized the “Green Blessings – Tree Planting” project on July 6, 2025, at the serene Pillewa Temple.
A total of 15 fruit trees, including Pomegranate and Soursop, were planted to promote sustainability, environmental awareness, and community engagement.
The presence and active participation of the District Governor and First Lady as Chief Guests further underscored the importance of this initiative. This project stands as a shining example of our collective commitment to protecting nature and serving communities.
