Description

Testing Fasting Blood Sugar of Diabetic Patients On August 12, 2025, the Colombo Continental Excellence Club (CCC) conducted a fasting blood sugar testing program at Pattigoda Sewapiyasa to support diabetes awareness and early detection. The project was chaired by Lion Bahar Nayan, coordinated by Dr. Fakeeha Nooman, and funded by Lion Bahar Nayan and Dr. Nilmini. A total of 55 participants benefited from the screening, while club members contributed 12 Lion Hours. This initiative provided an important service in identifying at-risk individuals, raising awareness about diabetes management, and encouraging healthier lifestyles within the community.
