Monthly Mobile Diabetic Clinic for Elders
On August 28, 2025, the Colombo Continental Excellence Club (CCC) conducted its Monthly Mobile Diabetic Clinic at the Leela Withana Elder’s Home, Warapalana. The project was chaired and funded by Lion Saddath, with medical coordination by Dr. Fakeeha Nooman.
A total of 15 elders benefited from the program, where blood sugar testing, medical check-ups, and diabetes management advice were provided. Club members contributed 12 Lion Hours to ensure smooth organization and care.This regular initiative supports diabetes prevention and management, improves the health of elderly residents, and reflects Lions’ commitment to promoting healthier communities through continuous service.
