Description

On August 27, 2025, the Colombo Continental Excellence Club (CCC) conducted its Monthly Mobile Diabetic Clinic at the Sumedharamaya Viharasthanaya, Kirikitthamulla, Yakkala. The project was chaired and funded by Lion Bahar Nayan, with medical coordination by Dr. Fakeeha Nooman. A total of 15 beneficiaries received blood sugar testing, diabetes management advice, and general health check-ups, with 12 Lion Hours contributed by club members. This initiative supports diabetes awareness and prevention, provides accessible healthcare services to the community, and demonstrates Lions’ commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles among at-risk populations.
