Description

To celebrate International Literacy Day and International Children's Day club joined hands with Sri Subodhi Junior School, Thalangama North, Koswatte which has 367 students ranging from Grade I to Grade 5. On this day, the School organised a "Language Camp" . The Language Camp was held to enhance the education and knowledge of various language skills of the Children. All the students were into 5 teams and 10 skills were given. Out of the 10 skills that were conducted, 60 finalists were selected. Club donated the prizes for the 60 finalists and also distributed gifts to all 367 students, Chief Guest was Sri Jayawardenepura Zonal Education Director and the Guest of Honour was 1st Vice District Governor of 306 D7 Lion Chandika Dedigama. Zone Chairperson Lion Imran too participated. It was a very successful Programme. The camp concluded at 1.30 p.m. Also all the teachers were recognised for their untiring efforts.
