On September 13, 2025, the Lions Club of Kalawana actively participated in and contributed to the blessing ceremony held at Saman Dewalaya to mark the visit of the newly appointed District Governor, Lion Gaya Upasena. As part of the club’s contribution to this religious and ceremonial event, the coconut oil required for the traditional blessing lamp (Pahan Puja) was provided by the Kalawana Lions Club.
