The Lions Club of Udahamulla New Century, together with the Lions Club of Maharagama Golden City, organized a health awareness and good habits program at Borelesgamuwa Primary School to mark World Children’s Day 2025. The event was held on 30 September at the school’s main hall with the participation of students and staff.
As part of the program, essential health and hygiene materials were gifted to the children to promote daily cleanliness and wellbeing. The initiative aimed to encourage healthy routines among young students and create awareness about personal care from an early age. The project was jointly chaired by Lion Pradeep Sandaruwan PMAF and Lion Umesh Gamage, with Lion Buddhika Samarajeewa MJF attending as Chief Guest in his capacity as District GMCT Coordinator.
