The Lions Club of Homagama Supreme successfully organized a Free Eye Testing Camp under the Vision Project on 28th July 2025 at the Dill Foods Auditorium, under the dedicated leadership of Project Chairman Lion Rohitha Wijesinghe. This humanitarian initiative aimed to promote eye health, prevent vision impairment, and improve the quality of life of community members through accessible and professional eye care services.
The program offered comprehensive eye screening tests for adults and included the donation of spectacles to those in need. By enabling the early detection of vision-related issues, the project provided timely support to individuals who might not otherwise have access to proper eye care.
A total of 150 beneficiaries received services through this initiative, which recorded 900 Lion hours and carried a project value of LKR 25,000.00. The Free Eye Testing Camp stands as a testament to the Lions Club of Homagama Supreme’s commitment to Vision for All, fostering a healthier and more vibrant community through the gift of sight.
