The Lions Club of Homagama Supreme successfully continued its noble humanitarian initiative, “An Investment for the Future,” by awarding a financial scholarship to student Charani Vidarshana Peiris. This ongoing project, dedicated to supporting the education of deserving students, has now reached its 14th presentation since inception, showcasing the club’s enduring commitment to empowering youth through education and opportunity.
For the month of September 2025, the financial donation was graciously sponsored by American Caterers (Pvt) Ltd and credited to the beneficiary through Seylan Bank – Malabe. The project was carried out under the leadership of Project Chairman Lion Rohitha Wijesinghe, with the steadfast support of the Lions Club of Homagama Supreme, ensuring the continuation of this meaningful cause.
Though simple in scale, the initiative made a profound impact, providing educational encouragement and financial relief to a deserving student. The project recorded 2 Lion hours, served 1 beneficiary, and carried a total value of LKR 10,000.00.
