A special program organized by the Lions Club of Ratnapura was held at the Ganegama Temple, Pelmadulla, to highlight the ongoing three-month Cake and Sewing Training Course conducted for housewives in the Pelmadulla area.
This initiative aims to empower women in the community to become self-reliant and financially independent through vocational skills development. During the program, representatives from the RDB Bank provided valuable financial guidance and advice on effective loan management. It was also discussed that, upon successful completion of the training, participants will be provided with interest-free loans to support their future entrepreneurial ventures
