KADAWATHA LIONS EYE CARE CENTRE
he club helped a Buddhist monk from Mathugama (from outstation) approximately 75 KM away from Colombo to carry out his cataract operation. This operation was doen at our LIons Eye Care Centre, situated in Kadawatha. He had to travel on several occassions to see the doctor and finally for the operation which was held on 21st November 2025. As he had to travel all the way to Kadawatha, club sponsored his travelling and the medication which amounted to around 85,000/=. Then the operation was done at the Kadawatha Lions Eye Care centre. Total cost amounted to 170,000/-. Project Chairperson Lion Priscila Johnson.
