On 6th November (Poya day), club sponsored lunch at the Kataragama temple for 2000 citizens who had come to worship the temple. Sponsor members travelled to Kataragama the previous day with the rations and food preparation was done at the Kataragma temple. Serving of the lunch commenced at 11.00 a.m and there were several buffet counters for serving purpose. My sincere appreciation goes to Lions Bandula and Thlaka Algiriya and their family members for their sponsorship of this magnanimous gesture.
