The Lions Club of Colombo Ceylon Legends successfully carried out a humanitarian project by donating dry rations for babies at the Sarvodaya Suwasetha Child Development Nutrition Center. This meaningful initiative focused on supporting children under the age of three, ensuring their essential nutritional needs were met during a crucial stage of early development.
The project was conducted in the spirit of Christmas, symbolizing love, care, and compassion for the most vulnerable members of society. By providing dry rations, the Lions Club aimed to strengthen child nutrition and promote healthier growth among infants and toddlers enrolled at the center.
The project was organized and led by Project Chairperson Lion Prabash Thilakaratne, whose dedication and leadership ensured the successful implementation of the program. This initiative reflects the Lions Club of Colombo Ceylon Legends’ ongoing commitment to community service, child welfare, and social responsibility, especially during significant occasions such as Christmas.
