Lions Club of Udahamulla successfully carried out a community service project on 9th January 2026 at the Apeksha Hospital Hospice (Palliative Care Unit) in line with the International Hunger Week initiative.
The project was chaired by Lion Palitha Gamage and focused on supporting patients and caregivers through the provision of a full-day meal, toiletries, fresh vegetables, dry rations, and gift packs. These items were distributed to 30 beneficiaries, bringing comfort and relief to those receiving palliative care.
This meaningful initiative reflected the Lions Club’s commitment to compassion, service, and addressing hunger within the community.
