A water and sanitation support project was carried out through the donation of a Pintali (water purification system) to Kalawana General Hospital with the objective of providing access to safe and clean drinking water. This facility benefits approximately 500 people daily, including patients, visitors, and hospital staff, by supplying purified drinking water.
The installation of the Pintali has significantly improved water quality within the hospital premises, helping to reduce the risk of waterborne diseases and supporting overall health and hygiene. Access to clean drinking water is essential in a healthcare environment, and this initiative has greatly contributed to patient care and public well-being.
This service project reflects the Lions Club’s strong commitment to health, sanitation, and community welfare by delivering a sustainable solution that serves a large number of people every day.
