A school health and safety initiative was implemented by providing first aid boxes fully equipped with essential medicines to 12 primary schools within the Kalawana Education Division. This project was designed to strengthen emergency preparedness and ensure the immediate availability of basic medical care for students and staff. Each first aid box was carefully prepared with necessary medical supplies to manage minor injuries, cuts, and common health issues that may occur during school hours. Teachers and school administrators were briefed on the proper use and maintenance of the first aid kits to ensure effective and responsible usage. This initiative significantly contributed to improving student safety, promoting a healthier school environment, and enhancing the overall well-being of young learners. The project reflects the Lions Club’s strong commitment to child welfare, education support, and community health through proactive and compassionate service.
