On December 19, 2026, the Lions Club of Colombo Continental Excellence (CCC) successfully conducted a humanitarian service project by distributing 60 meal packets along with yogurt cups to beggars and needy individuals near the Pillewa Temple. This meaningful initiative was supported by family members, who actively assisted in carrying out the service.
A total amount of LKR 60,000 was spent on the project, contributing 20 Lion service hours. The project addressed the daily struggles of individuals living on the streets, many of whom lack access to regular meals and basic care. The Lions Club of Colombo Continental Excellence was proud to extend compassion and support to these vulnerable communities.
The project was coordinated by Lion Uditha Wedisinghe and Lion Lady Inoksha Wadisinghe, together with their family.
