Description

Club decided to distribute school stationery to school children who were affected by "Ditwa" Cyclone in November 2025. We got a sponsor for this project. Swastika Mills Pvt Ltd came forward to sponsor. The project was held in Badulla District and we chose 120 children from 8 divisions in the said district. The whole pack consisted of a school bag , instrument bos pencils erasers CR Books etc. The project was held at Simon Peiris Memorial Town Hall, Badulla. Club members travelled a distance of about 400 km It was very heartwarming to see these children carrying the stationery pack and walk back. Chief Guest was PDG Lion Ismath Hamid.
