The Lions Club of Colombo Ceylon Legends successfully conducted a community service project by donating essential medical bandages to a Leprosy Hospital to support patients admitted for treatment. The donation was arranged to provide sufficient bandages for approximately one month, helping the hospital maintain proper wound care and hygiene for patients undergoing treatment.
This humanitarian activity was organized on a Poya Day, symbolizing compassion, kindness, and service to those in need. The project was chaired and coordinated by Lion Prabash Thilakaratne, whose leadership helped ensure the successful implementation of this meaningful service initiative.
Through this project, the club contributed to improving patient care and supporting the medical staff in providing continuous treatment for individuals affected by leprosy..
