Description

Lions Club IInternational 306 D7 (Jawatta Summit) together with Sri Lanka Optometric Association Organized an awareness program inline with commemoration of world diabetic Day to educate the general public about Diabetic and its side effects and control and prevention of the disease Guest Speakers Dr. Deepani Wewalwala – Consultant Eye Surgeon- National Focal Point for Diabetes. And Dr. Niranjala Widanage- Consultant Endocrinologist- Teaching Hospital Colombo South gave informative Presentations and speeches on diabetes and its impact on vision. Chief guest was mayor of Dehiwala Mount Lavinia and the guest of honor District governor Lion Gaya Upasena raced the occasion with their presence.
