With the participation of the Lions Club of Ratnapura, Lions International District 306 D7, alongside other Lions Clubs representing Districts 306 D8 and 306 D2, the Reef Cleaning and Coral Planting Project was successfully carried out on 31 January 2026 at Rumassala, Galle. The project was further graced by the participation of Lion Sunethra Thanthiriwatta MJF, MAF, First Vice District Governor of Lions International District 306 D2, whose presence added significance to this environmental conservation initiative. The project focused on reef cleaning and coral planting activities, promoting marine conservation and inter-district collaboration among Lions Clubs
