The Lions Club of Kalawana carried out a school premises development project at Kalawana National School, which included laying interlock paving stones in the school courtyard and landscaping with flower plants to enhance the environment.
This project, with a total cost of LKR 1,000,000, was implemented to improve the safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal of the school surroundings. The newly interlock stones paved area provides a safer and more convenient space for students’ daily activities, while the landscaped garden creates a pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere within the school.
The event was attended by the Zone Chairman, whose presence added value and recognition to the initiative. Lions members actively contributed to the successful completion of this project.
This meaningful development reflects the Lions Club’s commitment to education, environmental improvement, and creating better learning environments for students.
