Lions club of Maharagama Golden city organized gifting of 5 sewing machines to the women entrepreneurs on 15th March 2026 @ Public Library Nugegoda to celebrate the worlds women's day. The chief guest was District Governor Lion Gaya Upasena PMJF and the project chairperson was Lion Pradeep Sandaruwan MJF. Gifting sewing machines to women entrepreneurs on international women day is transformative gesture that turns a symbolic celebration into a practical engine for long-term economic independence. ( 5 machines - 120000/-*5 - 600000/- + transport and logistic 12500/-
