The Lions Club of Nugegoda Legacy conducted a hunger relief project in Gothatuwa to support vulnerable pregnant mothers affected by recent hardships. In coordination with local health authorities, identified beneficiaries were provided with Yahaposha and other essential nutritional supplements to improve maternal health. The initiative aimed to address nutritional deficiencies during pregnancy and ensure better outcomes for both mothers and unborn children. By delivering timely support, the project helped reduce health risks associated with malnutrition and strengthened community well-being. This effort reflects the club’s commitment to combating hunger and promoting healthier futures for mothers and their families.
