Description

Image building project by Lions club of Maharagama Golden city in the Lions International environment week. on 21st April 2026 @ University of Colombo. Establishing a waste management 02 UNITS system at a university through a Lions club initiative is a highly impactful environment project. it addresses the significant waste generated by "mini-city" campus environments while fostering a culture of sustainability among students and staff. Project chairperson was Lion Premachandra Wanniarchchi MJF and The Chief Guest was Cabinet Secretary Lion Chandana Mahanama MJF. ITS Cost of exceeding rupees 7.5Mn ( USD 23450).( Each Rs 3.75Mn)
