Multi-Service Project Contribution Report Date: 29th December 2025 This initiative was carried out as a result of a random interaction inspired by viewing the Lions Club of Ratnapura web page, which led to meaningful communication and generous support for community service activities. A generous donation of LKR 350,000 was contributed by Mrs. Chami Jayasekara, together with her mother, brother, sister, and family members, enabling the successful implementation of multiple community service projects. The Lions Club of Ratnapura extends sincere appreciation for all contributions and support rendered towards these initiatives. The project and its impact were featured in newspapers, further enhancing the image and reputation of Lionism in society. Individual Contributions Lion Nalin – Donated 100 pillows. Lion Dr. Ruwanthi – Contributed LKR 100,000 to support the essential needs of a medical student. Ven. Dil Rukshan Thero – Donated: 20 nutritional packs for pregnant mothers School bags with books for children LKR 50,000 for purchasing medicines Lion Jayathissa Hettiarachchi – Donated: 1 wheelchair 2 walkers 2 crutches Lion Sanjaya Silva – Provided shoes for children. Lion Rohan – Donated commemorative trophies. Lion Dasun – Contributed LKR 30,000 for essential requirements. Lion Bhathiya – Donated Maliban milk products. Long-Term Commitment A special financial commitment was made for a medical student, providing: LKR 10,000 per month for 5 years Total contribution: LKR 600,000 This initiative was carried out by: Lions Pamal, Ruwanthi, Chaminda, Bandula, Lalith, Manjula, and Wimala, under the guidance of the Club President and by invitation. Appreciation The Lions Club expresses its deep gratitude to all donors and contributors for their generosity and dedication to community service.
