Lion Club of Colombo Diamonds Organizes Lunch Programmed for Elders Home
The Lion Club organized a special lunch programmed for the elders Home as part of community service activities. The programmed was organized with the aim of spending meaningful time with the elders and showing them care, respect, and appreciation. Club members prepared and served a nutritious lunch, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for everyone.
During the visit, members had the opportunity to interacted with the elders, listen to their stories, share conversations, and spend quality time together. The gathering was filled with smiles, friendship, and moments of happiness.
The members also took the opportunity to understand some of the needs and concerns of the elders and to remind them that they are valued members of our community. Beyond providing a meal, the visit was about companionship, kindness, and bringing a little extra joy into their day. The Lion Club is committed to continuing community service initiatives that support senior citizens and other members of society who may benefit from care and companionship.
The successful completion of the programmed was made possible through the dedication and teamwork of the club members.
