As part of its commitment to serving the community and improving the quality of life of those in need, the Lions Club of Balangoda donated three wheelchairs to three persons with disabilities in the Balangoda area who were unable to afford this essential equipment due to financial difficulties. This humanitarian initiative provided much-needed assistance to the recipients and their families by improving mobility, supporting daily activities, and facilitating rehabilitation and greater independence. The donation has also helped ease the physical and emotional burden on family members and caregivers, enabling them to provide better care and support. This project reflects the Lions Club of Balangoda's dedication to promoting dignity, compassion, and an inclusive society by extending a helping hand to vulnerable members of the community.
