Description

As part of the Lions Club of Nugegoda Legacy Children’s Day service project at Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, 100 stationery and book packs were distributed to children above three years of age. The packs were prepared to encourage learning, writing, reading and creative engagement during their hospital stay. The activity formed part of the Club’s wider programme to support the educational and emotional wellbeing of children receiving treatment at LRH. For wards 7, 10, 11, accident service and orthopaedic and plastics surgical wards.
